Radiohead placed two minutes of it at the end of Kid A. Traditional Japanese music reveres it as ma. John Cage built an entire composition out of it.
Every person carries their own lacuna: a song they can feel but cannot yet hear.

Our Story
lacuna.fm was founded by a product-minded engineer who spent years building large-scale consumer products at leading technology companies and global e-commerce platforms. After seeing how many people carried music inside them but lacked the means to express it, the idea for lacuna.fm took shape.
We are a remote-first, lean startup. No bloated team, no unnecessary overhead — just a sharp focus on building tools that help everyone turn their imagination into music.
