A fresh page of music for your next practice session

Create short single-staff melodies or rhythm exercises with clear limits. Read first, listen when you are ready, and keep a printable copy.
HOW IT WORKS

From your idea to a usable file

1Step 1

Set a focused challenge

Choose melody or rhythm, an instrument range, key and meter. Start with a difficulty preset, then adjust the exact limits.

2Step 2

Generate a fresh exercise

Use a new seed for a different phrase or keep the seed to revisit the same exercise. Each bar fits the selected meter.

3Step 3

Read, listen and keep it

Try the score before playing the reference. Download PDF, MIDI, ABC or audio, and share a link to the exact settings and seed.

BUILT FOR YOUR WORKFLOW

Sight-Reading Generator

Create short single-staff melodies or rhythm exercises with clear limits. Read first, listen when you are ready, and keep a printable copy.

Practice one skill at a time

Limit the range and maximum interval for pitch reading, or switch to rhythm-only notation. Add shorter note values when you want a denser exercise.

Repeat a useful exercise exactly

A seed plus the exercise settings produces the same result. Shared links carry those choices so a teacher and student can work from the same page.

A complete practice handout

The score, MIDI and reference audio come from one generated ABC source. Export a PDF for offline reading or keep the ABC text for further editing.

Choose the right next step

Begin with a comfortable range

Choose an instrument preset, then narrow the low and high notes to pitches you can find confidently. A small range helps you spend attention on rhythm and reading ahead.

Separate rhythm from pitch

In rhythm mode every sounding note is a percussion pulse on a single staff. The meter and duration choices still apply, so you can clap or tap before adding melodic movement.

Use the recording as a check

The reference is a synthesized performance of the exercise, not a recording of your playing. It helps you hear the intended notes and timing but does not score accuracy.

Keep the scope clear

These are rule-generated single-staff exercises, not graded examination material or full two-hand piano arrangements. A teacher can choose appropriate settings for your level.
