Describe the music you need in plain words — the scene, the instruments, the feeling — and generate an original instrumental track. Add a genre, mood, and length when you want more control.
How it works

From a Sentence to Instrumental Music in Three Steps

1Step 1

Describe the music

Write what it's for and how it should sound — a scene, a few instruments, the energy. One or two sentences is enough.

2Step 2

Add a genre, mood, and length

Optional: pick a genre and mood to narrow the sound, and choose a concise piece or a full track.

3Step 3

Generate and pick a take

The default model returns two takes per generation. Keep the one that fits, or open it in the workspace to keep shaping it.

Features

An Instrumental Music Generator That Starts From Words

No music terms required. Describe the result, then narrow it down only where it matters.

Describe it in your own words

Your description leads the generation, ahead of any genre or mood you pick. Write a sentence or two in plain words: what the music is for, which instruments you hear, the energy, and anything it should avoid. Something like warm piano and soft strings for a wedding slideshow, slow and hopeful, is enough. Describe an artist's sound rather than naming the artist.

Twelve genre starting points

Narrow the sound with cinematic, ambient, lo-fi, solo piano, acoustic guitar, classical, jazz, electronic, synthwave, rock, hip hop, or corporate and upbeat. Each genre adds its own palette, such as sweeping strings and epic percussion for cinematic, or walking upright bass and brushed drums for jazz. Leave it on Any genre and your description alone sets the direction.

Mood and tempo

Add one of nine moods, from calm and romantic to epic, dark, or energetic, to set the emotional color. Tempo stays on Auto for the genre's typical pace or requests Slow, Medium, or Fast. These are ranges rather than an exact BPM, so the result can land slightly off; the AI Beat Maker and Phonk Maker have a BPM slider.

Never any vocals

Every track comes out instrumental, and the setting is fixed at generation time, not just a default. You never have to hunt for a vocal-free version or mute a voice later. The music can sit under voiceover, dialogue, or a presentation without competing for attention. To pull the backing track out of an existing song instead, use the Instrumental Maker.

Pick a length, then keep shaping it

Choose Concise for a compact piece with a clear beginning, middle, and end, or Full track for an arrangement that develops over several sections. The default model returns two takes per generation. Open the one that fits in the workspace to remix it, extend it where the model supports it, or split it into stems. Each of these actions uses credits.

Download on a paid plan
